The Chapin 88300B SaltPro is an 80 lb capacity walk-behind broadcast spreader designed for professional and homeowner ice melt and salt application. The weather-resistant blue poly hopper mounts on a rugged powder-coated steel frame, while a spiked auger breaks up clumps to prevent clogging at the gate opening. Adjustable front and side baffles allow precise control of the spread pattern. Stainless steel axle, gears, and hardware with an enclosed gear system provide corrosion resistance. Recommended for use with salt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride.
