Grip-Rite 16DUP duplex nails are 16-penny, bright-finish steel fasteners with a smooth shank and double head, sold in a 50 lb box of approximately 2,250 nails. The upper head measures 9/32 in. and the lower head measures 11/32 in.; the shank length below the lower head is 3 in., with an overall nail length of approximately 3-1/2 in. The double-head design keeps the upper head exposed above the surface so the nail can be driven to a firm hold yet pulled out easily when the temporary structure is no longer needed. Ideal for concrete forming and scaffolding, these uncoated nails conform to ASTM F1667 and are suited for use with untreated lumber where corrosion resistance is not required.
